Default 928/944 Phone Dials on an early VW Bug

I have now seen it all.
Fronts have been cut and rewelded to 5.5" or 5" wide. Rears are other half of OEM from a 944 or 928 I will guess
Oh my.

I actually kind of like the phonies on the Bug, the curves on the wheels sort of match the curves on the body. To each his own I guess.

There's a guy here in town with a nicely restored VW Bus, the one's with the big 'V' on the nose and he has 16" Cup's on there...it's really cool.

They go through all that trouble and yet cant seem to figure out how to change the center caps to use a VW logo. Maybe it would be somewhat acceptable if they were using a porsche engine, but personally its like putting Turbo badges on a N/A.

Phones look terrible - the guy need a swift kick in the nads.

Fuchs don't look bad - just a waste of a good wheel that could be on a Porsche.
