Hello All,
My driver seat on my 91 s2 will no longer move forward or backward? The outside motor engages to move to screw mecahnism but the inner motor screw does not turn. I found the manual 6 mm allen wrench location to move the seat but the outside rails only moves about an half inch and the inside rail does does not. I can't get to the bolts to remove seats. I've looked for an obstruction like change but I couldn't see anything. How can I get my seat back to working? The passenger seat has an manual lever in which the drivers side does not. Am I just SOL?
Thanks, Lee

I can't really offer any help but thanks for asking the question. I am having the same problem with the passenger side seat in my '91 S2. If I find a solution, I will post. Good Luck!

My problem is solved. I had my car in the shop for a 1K timing belt tension check and asked them to take a look a the seat. They found a small screw lodged in the track. I had looked and prodded and poked but never could find any obstruction.
