Well after the GTG in Warren Dunes in 102 degree weather and traveling at 80 with the AC on I figured my car passed the test as far as overheating and such. Well what I didnt factor in was all the abuse my hoses were taking. Well yesterday was no prob but I went on a chicken run today at my pops and on the way back 6 houses away in the alley POP!!!!!! There goes my upper radiator hose. This was at 6:00pm or so most auro parts places were closed. The only one open was an Advance Auto Parts. They didnt have the hose that my car comes with but after some coaxing I had the parts dude find me one similar in shape and size. After a few minutes all is good again. But what a mess that was and the hose RIP. So everyone take a look at your hoses now especially during the heating months. I was fortunate that it happened so close to home. Had it been on or during the way back home. That woulda sucked.
