Clunking sound from front left wheel arch. 944 s2
Hi all,
I've had my 944 s2 for a couple of months now and love it to bits!
In the last couple of weeks I've just started noticing a nasty clunking sound when I turn hard right. I'm pretty sure this is coming from the front left suspension area.
From what I have read, I suspect this could be the ball joint?? The car has done 111K and I don''t think they have been replaced recently. The car handles fine and I haven't noticed any problems with the ride when driving or cornering.
Should I get this checked out as a matter of urgency. If it is the ball joint, is this a big job? is it bad to leave it for a bit?, can I replace just the bad one - or is wise to get them all done at the same time?
Thanks for any help.
Mojie
