Has anyone fabricated a clutch stop for the 944? It may just be me but mine lets out almost at the top, Also it would go well with the short shift... any one?

yeah, thats why i asked. Every time i drive my friends m3, the clutch is only around 5 inches of travel and the clutch grabs at the floor.. I love it. Have you tried fabbing one for the 944?

So far the mounting would be the big question. The BMW already has a tapped hole in the pedal support for the stop. Don't confuse the clutch grabbing at the floor with what the stop does. The stop on my 325 'keeps you from pushing it all the way to the floor'. The pedal take up is still the same as without the stop; the stop just reduces pedal over-travel and stops it well 'before' the floor. Maybe the M has adjustable pedal positions, I really don't know.
