Seems like there's a high percentage of Porsche owners that are avid bikers. I'm working at a couple bike shops for the summer and it seems that every porsche i've ever seen around my area has popped into the shop at least once or twice with a nice bike to boot. Anyone else on here big bikers??
On a side note, it really is amazing how easily you can fit two full size bikes in the back of a 944 (with the front wheels popped off, no big deal at all)

Are Porsche bikes really worth it?
I always thought they were just normal bike with the Porsche name. BTW, I have a Zipp 2001 I'm selling, if anyone is interested.

An avid biker checking in. I'm down to five bikes: Eddy Merckx w/ Campy Record for the road, Santa Cruz Superlight full suspension mt bike, Rock Lobster hardtail, 1985 Cannondale mt bike (no suspension and one of the first generation mountain bikes) which is now my town bike, and a small town bike for my girlfriend.

If you look at the R bike it has all Dura Ace components which you find on bikes in the $3,500 plus range.

I have not raced it but I have put almost 1k miles on it in the last 12 months. Most of my rides are 15-20 miles along the bike path to the beach.

Santa Cruz is definately a great place to be if you're into bikes. I just bought a Gary Fisher HKEK from my shop... never would've been able to afford it without that 40% discount

Another cyclist checking in. I ride a '92 REI fixed frame mountain bike. Mostly trail riding, we've got a great trail system in San Antonio and you can join up with it a few hundered feet from my house.

I'd LOVE a Porsche framed road bike.. nowhere to ride without getting killed in Cinci.
It would look great on a wall...
