if you're desperate to get out and get some beer in you and help us, i'm almost 100% positive i'd be riding by myself, so you could probably hitch a ride if you wanted to.

assuming you can tolerate tuba/accordion/trumpet mexican music....

The image in my mind of Steve's torment as he listens to cumbias and mariachi music the whole way is just too funny.............

Maybe the wrenching party should be at Steve's house since his car's apart.

wait a second, I think some sort of irony will start sinking in here.

Getting my windshield replaced in San Leadro that day. If I finish early, I might stop by.

Irony...no way! LOL At least the weather report says it will only be a mere 106 Saturday. Personally, I'm staying close to my sweat deprivatiion tank in the back yard.

In Frisco it should be a cool 76 degrees. Ah, the one upside to living in this hell pit.

Roger, you can count me in for now. I say "for now" because I'm hoping that by saturday, something will break, so I can wrench on it. Right now everything is working, except the 928 PS rack. I wouldn't want to drive that thing out to tracy the way it is. No, I'm not seriously hoping something breaks.

Tracy is hella far to go just to get free food and soda.

Hey Juan, it sounds like your PS rack has a leak, and that some dirt has found its way in and is clogging a fluid path or two. This happened to my dad's 928S. The boot on the driver's side tore open, and now the PS kicks in and out randomly. It makes it hard to steer sometimes, then it gets loose just as you're tugging with all your might and makes you steer too much... If this sounds like your issue then you should rebuild your PS rack with new boots and seals.

I'll have you know that loud Nortena music and a Bloody Mary is the best hangover cure going on a Sunday morning...I hear that Menudo's even better but I really don't need any additional stomach, I have more than enough of my own I'll be having my own wrenching party trying to get as far as I can on finishing the rear seat package tray/sound system project and jumping in the pool every 1/2 hour to cool off. Have fun guys

The only pool I have is the one my turbodiesel leaves in the driveway. Maybe I'll bring that, and Roger can help me find the leak. Then we can have a showdown of garnet red turbos.
