Thumbs up 1987 924S For Sale again!

It's back!
My friend that bought the car from me has gone from stem to stern and repaired or replaced all that ailed it!
She called to say that it is for sale now. She decided against letting her 16 yr. old daughter drive it. ( WHEW!) Actually, the insurance man helped her with the decision.
Here is what she repaired:
1) New factory clutch
2) Removed the gas tank and replaced all of the cracked hoses. No more gas fumes when you have a full tank. This is very expensive to do.
3) New brake master cylinder.
4) New heater control valve. Hard to get to. Now, no more unwanted heat.
All of this is in addition to all that I did to the car.
She is selling it for less than she has in it.
Her price is $4,699.00 firm.
It has around 103K miles
Guards Red
Black P-cloth
5 speed
You can search for my previous posting. There you will also find pictures. I know that the last time I was selling it for her, several of you were interested, but she decided to fix everything first. You can email me or PM me. I will be handling all the calls. You can contact her with the payment arrangements.
Thanks to All

Actually, I think a 924S would be a great first car. Power is far less than quite a few new cars on the road today. But at any rate, sounds like a good deal for someone. Just consider this a free bump.

There are alot worse cars for a 16 year old to start out in.

yeah, but on the other hand, it is fast enough to cause trouble, and having recently been a 16 year old male, it presents more temptation to try something stupid than, say, a volvo station wagon (my first car....it wasn't too bad, but it certainly wasn't a porsche)

We won't go into "first cars" here (OK, we might), but my first two were large cubic inch, bad handling, gas guzzling, 'merican cars that could not stop on a dime if my life depended on it. Point being, a 924S is none of those and a far safer ride than I had as a teenager.

Free bump #2!

Caution: Paid endorsement follows....
Oh, BTW - my 951 is for sale.

It is not a good choice for a teenage girl, if you really love Porsches. She is not into cars. Can't use a stick shift. These cars need someone that is a car guy to the core. Also, here in Las Vegas, we have around 5,000 new residents each month. On top of that, we have, on average, about 700,000 visitors EACH WEEK! That is hard to imagine. So, you have people in an exciting, new town. Driving a rental car. Not knowing where they are going. Looking at all of the amazing stuff. Not a good combination. Plus, all of the retirees. Just yesterday, in 2 different places, the car going 50 on the I-215 was driven by an old shake with the seat right up close to the steering wheel, barely seeing over the dash. One car was a new LS430 and the other a new Jag XJ8. Plus, since I lowered the 924S, you can see the bottom of most vehicles bumpers. Not a good thing in a T-bone accident. Anyway, someone probably needs this car. Where can you get a great car, with everything already fixed, for under $4,700.00?? It has the factory 16" wheels . Sport suspension . Continental Sport Contact 2's .
