Default 944 clutch pedal position

Hey all,

The clutch in my '87 944 engages way to far out (so I've been told). Is this a sign of clutch wear or do I just need to adjust something? Can anyone point me at a good diy guide for clutch adjustment? I checked out the master cylinder replacement procedure at clarks-garage.com and some of it seemed like it may be relevant but I wasn't sure. I'm a wrench noob.

Thanks,

Steve
