hi

no top gear did a buy a Porsche for £1500 or less then did various tasks with them to see how good they were, if i remember correctly there was a 924, 944 and a 928 in the line up

one of the best in the series

Yeah, I seen that one. The 928 and 944 had a few problems, I think the 924 was the only one in real good condition.

Actually, the 924 was in horrible cosmetic condition.

Yea, but the 924 was the one that was left running after the Stig got done with his laps. The 928 blew the engine, and the 944 blew all the oil out of the engine. The 924 survived, IIRC.

just goes to show these cars are worth more as spares and that V8 table looks great

944 Turbo is still one of the most uderated cars of all time.

Actually, the 928 seats and engine turned into a coffee table sold for the most.

Porsche needs to build the 944 Turbo again. Maybe with a V6 this time. How awesome would that be.
