Question Shift coupling help?

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to help a friend with his 1981 924 turbo.

His shift tube/coupling is broken, well what I mean is the coupling itself has been broken and somebody has done a shoddy job of fixing it. It's got more slop than a St Kilda Hooker.
The problem is this particular type has the shift tube welded to the coupling and they want about $450 US for it down here.

What I'm after for him is a damaged or bent shift tube that has a reasonable coupling attached to it. Then I will cut it off and weld it to his old one.

So if anyone has an old tube/coupling they'd like to get rid of please PM me.

Cheers,

Frank
