Hi,
I plan to get rid of unprofessionally installed aftermarket alarm. I plan to remove all extra wires and reuse the main module (good brand) with factory harness - use DME cut off instead of ignition cut-off and connect door lock/unlock link to alarm module. 944 S2 '89 - car has no factory alarm. I looked into the wiring schematic - it should be easy job, no problems here.
What I need is component locations of factory alarm:
1. Main module - I believe near DME under passenger carpet.
2. Additional relay G18 - stop/fog light relay on alarm. Location ?
3. Additional module G19 - door locking control. Location ?
4. Horn - Where are those wires to connect horn ? Location ?
Thanks,
TK

Located:
1. Main module - near DME under passenger carpet.
2. Additional relay G18 - stop/fog light relay on alarm. Main relay board. Only USA. ROW - blank socket.
3. Additional module G19 - door locking control. Main relay board.
4. Horn - Where are those wires to connect horn ? Location - near batery. Wires are under the dashborad, above gloves compartment.
In case whene alarm is not installed, the horn wires are tid up to the harness. The firewall plug needs to be removed, which allows wires to be passed near the battery. Factory added rubber seal to the harness (attached) to seal the hole in the firewall. Nice.
I have bought the plug which fits the original alarm module socket. I have rewired my aftermarket alarm unit to be fited into factory harness. Now I have fully functional modern RC alarm with immobilizer option (cuts off DME relay) and central **** drive. Minimum additional wires on the car, no cuts, no dirty joints to door lock swithces, etc...
I plan to take pictures, draw the schematic and submit an article to the Clark's garage.
