I think unmolested is the key word in this car's description.

A quick search in this forum will attest to this car being the garage queen it's being represented as by the seller.

Great 951 at a very fair price. Someone on Rennlist buy this car!

It's tempting for sure. I don't think the other half would go for it though...

Wow.. If I HAD a garage. I hope she goes to a loving new owner. $9900 is a steal.
Best of luck Keith!

Giving the locals a chance before going "public". I'm not in a rush to sell, so I'll give the Rennlist community the rest of this month before going global.

If it goes to someone outside Rennlist, the next person complaining about not being able to find a good 951 s going to need a big smack-down.

Looking at the other threads here on Rennlist for cars with twice the mileage, no records, blown engines, cracked windshields, and other issues makes mine a bargin. This keeps up and I'm gonna RAISE the price.

What's crazy is it might even up the interest.

This car is a freaking bargain for the asking price. Oh how I wish I were in the market.

Quite frankly, I'm really surprised it's still for sale.

Just curious... are the 17" cup 2's factory or replica? Also, can you post a few interior pics...? I'm always considering & it looks like a great deal, but I'm pretty sure I'm out for the timme being- only b/c of financial reasons, but I'm sure a few more pics wouldn't hurt for others....

Either way, I'm sorry to hear you're selling... at least if I bought your's, I'd have working 968 handles...

thanks
Robby

The wheels as well as the studs and spacers are all factory units. The wheels are 17" Cups off a 997 if I recall.

More Pics? Sure, but then you'll just want to buy her...

Nice car! And, because it's an '86, steering wheel can easily be replaced with a 930S wheel. Not to mention the ability to get deep dish 16" phonies for winter tires!

No need to source the phonies - car comes with a complete set. Even have new tires for the phone dials (not winter mind you - but never used). The tires for the dials are not mounted though.

Yes, but, unfortunately, '86's never had ABS either... I wonder how tough (read- expensive)it would be to retrofit ABS from later 951 or 968, etc ...?

Also, I got a Momo on my Turbo S- took awhile to get the horn working, but now that I've done it, I could probably do it pretty quickly next time...

Keith- looks & sounds better & better.... Does it have LSD??? I don't remember reading about it anywhere yet....?
