Default Passenger Window Not Working....

Been having a problem with my passenger window not going up or down. i've changed the window regulator recently. and worked fine for a while. driver side window works perfectly, can't even get passenger window up using the driver side controls, also passenger window works intermittenly, What can be possible causes of window not working? switches? (i've changed them) Window regulator? (i've changed recently) ground? a short in the wiring?
TIA
Also does' anybody have wiring schematics of how these windows work
another thing i've been hearing a clicking noise by passanger footwell or behind glove box also i have an extra passenger window regulator/motor assembly if any is interest, will sell cheap
TIA

wire broken to switch where it goes thru the door, check voltage at the switch.

were the switches changed to new ones or questionable ones?

What he said. I had the same problem and it took me a while to figure out why my windows just quit one day. Check behind the rubber seal and you'll probably see a couple broken or close to it wires.

The wires are wrapped, looks like factory tape, are you'll saying take the factory tape off and their might be cracked wires. another thing i keep hearing a clicking noise behind the glove box and it started about same time that windows went out. are there any relays back there that can cause the problem.
TIA

I don't know about the clicking noise, but I'd say take off the wrap and check them out. Opening and closing the door for 20 years can put a lot of wear on the wires behind the wrap. I think it's more the flexing that breaks them, not an abrasion.

The clicking noise is a failing solenoid for the vac controlled doors on the HVAC box. My passenger side window switch on the 83 didn't work and I opened the switch, cleaned out the crud with CRC contact cleaner, bent the tabs back up and it's worked for 2 years now.

The HVAC is just an abbreviation for heating ventilation and air conditioning. The solenoid (late cars only) is above the passenger foot well near the side of the center console.

Check for dirty contacts in the switches themselves-
Clark's Garage has schematics and a good troubleshooting guide:
