At the risk of being called trite again, few things are more expensive than a cheap Porsche.

All 86 turbo transmission has a cooler with or without LSD. Did the owner verify it has LSD and told you?

Yikes. Did you see in the Q&A where he brags that there is so much interest he isn't going to bother posting any more photos.... Yup. That's why the bid is up to a stratospheric $500... what a maroon!

With the Driver's side door handle delete, looks like you'll have to climb in "Dukes of Hazard" style...

Well, at the current price, it would make a good parts car. Hell, the dash looks good, that could be worth $300 on its own.

I dunno, looks like a nice summer project to me. I'ld probably drive out there and drag it home if I didn't already have a few too many projects;] I bet those miles are wrong though...Bruce

Beware those eBay ads, offering cheap 951s. Almost every one I have seen, were sold with issues. Also, dont get fooled by high reseve amounts, either. Like everybody else here suggests; get the best example you can afford- they are worth it.

Once in a while- you might be fortunate enought to bump into an occasional steal- like I did, in 2004. I dont know anybody who paid $1380 for a fully running, clean-titled 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo, with only 135k/mi. The downside was I totalled it this Easter, losing it over a 3" puddle of water in the rain, on the freeway. Oh well- there is always more...easy-come; easy-go!
