Default cooling fans not working

Hi new member but I read this Forum allot. My problem is my cooling fans are not working I used clarks garage and jumped the thermofan plug and found that the driver side works on low and fast speed but the passenger side only works on fast. I replaced the thermo fan switch. I also took the relay out and jumped that, they all worked but the passenger side did not go in low speed. So I was thinking it might be the slow speed fan resistor, i did not test it yet. My A/C does not work. so if any one has any kind of ideas I would be most appreciative and where can I buy a resistor?

You didn't mention what year your car is. With the early cars, it is only the driver's side fan that comes on at low speed when the car is shut off and is still hot (the thermo switch is still making contact). So what you describe is normal for an early car. The later cars have a 2 speed thermo switch which (I think) can turn both fans on to low speed.

I found a bad resistor and ordered a new one and ran some new wire. From the looks of things the left one looks like it has been replaced before.
