Yeah Baby!
Awesome day today. After months of trying to get the wife to come out to the track with us, she finally gave in. Didn't do much but watch, but other than feeling a bit ill, I think she had an OK day.
My day, however, was freakin' great.
Five runs. First four were so-so. A bit slippy-slidey. Top class time was shuffled between me and another guy a couple times. Just before getting in my car, I shook the other guy's hand and told him it was time to take my top spot back.
I pulled a very respectable 59 seconds with no cones whacked and no gates missed, on regular all-season no-performance street tires. I forget the exact time, my wife would know. High 58 low 59....
The in-car camera worked great, although I coulnd't convince the wife to record from the sidelines with the handheld camera for some spiffy editing. :doh
Here's the vid
(sorry about that audio junk, I gotta do something about the camera mic)
I can upload the other four runs if anyone wanna see those too.
Beat out a couple 911's and Boxster's, too.

I'm organising the PCA-CWR AutoX this Saturday the 17th at Boundary Bay.
Any PNWR members are welcome to drive up and participate!!!
Depending on the course and car turnout, we get between 7-10 runs each.
It's $35cdn for pca members.

Didn't get the Turbo. There were issues with it. Dash like the Grand Canyon, clearcoat coming off in patches, steering and braking werea little vague...engine seemed to run good though.
