Default acc. belts = -performance?

I was wondering if the powersteering and A/C belts could be removed before an autocross to clean up a little extra negative power without hurting anything?

You would need the ac delete bracket to run the alternator.

My experience with p/s systems suggests that as long as there is fluid in the system it will be fine. Don't drive with a dry p/s system unless you plan to change the rack.

you can take off the ps pump belt with no problems. If you want to take off the AC compressor belt, then you need the AC delete bracket so you can still drive the alternator. Pretty easy job.
