A neighbor is about to get a Cooper S. Anyone have any idea how much they are being discounted?

The one dealer he went to told him it is a six week wait to get the car he wants made, and will be kind enough to give it to him for sticker. Oh, it is an all cash deal!!!

I don't have one, but there aren't discounts from what I hear. Esp. if your ordering one. Normally you have to take what they have on the lot.

My friend just bought a fully loaded Cooper S. You'll be lucky to find a dealer that would even sell for MSRP, I've always seen them marked up. He payed $35k.

35K for a mini cooper!!! Tom, my sister bought one 2 years ago, she paid MSRP. I think most places will sell you MSRP, I haven't seen any discounts on new ones. On an all cash deal, why doesn't the neighbor buy a used one and save himself a few grand?
