Question Tie rod end tightening

I looked in the FSM for the tightening torque for the tie rod ends where they attach to the steering knuckle, and it says something like 30+20 for castle nut, 50 otherwise. Excuse me for being a newbie, but what does the 30+20 mean? 30Nm and then at least 20 degrees to align the nut to fit the cotter pin in?
