I'm heading up to Cincinnati in a week and a half to catch Richard Thompson. Anything along those lines, particularly with a guitar focus -- Knopfler, Kottke, Gillian Welch, etc. -- and I'm in.

Anything pretty much. Mostly rap, heavy metal (like thrash metal and hardcore) but I listen to all the older stuff like Zepplin, Frampton, etc Styx, Ozark Mountian Daredevils, etc.
I can't stand most alternative, most country (LOVE the old country though) and a good deal of the cheezy rap/pop stuff.

Depends on the night, mostly 80's - 90's rock. I like alot of stuff like Depeche Mode, New Order, etc. Occasional rap, country, and jazz....

All sorts of rock and alternative, old and new - some favorites are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Incubus, Dispatch, Ben Harper, CCR, Lynard Skynard, Led Zeppelin, and Third Eye Blind and a whole bunch of others. Audio, particularly high end audio/ 2-channel critical listening is another hobby of mine (other than cars) that I do at home when not driving etc

Nah, there's very few current post-mid 90's artists that I like. I'm 24 and I love older music

My radio got stolen about a year ago so I have the old tape deck in the car. The only two tapes in the car are Michael Jackson's Greatest Hits and 2 Live Crew's greatest hits. Thats been holding me over fine when there's nothing on the radio. 2 Live Crew gets more play than Michael Jackson.

as of lately, 50s and early 60s rock. usually slight punkish like pennywise, misfits, afi, toasters. lots of 60s-70s rock and some 80s.
