Hello,
I was trying to figure out why my car lets in water on the passenger side. I just noticed that there is a space at the top back of the window between the window and body.
I took the panel off the door and looked at the scisor arms and the one in the front is bent down causing it to not go up as far as the back (making it tilt \ way just slightly)
I'm just clueless on what to do. I kind of just want to replace the arms, but it doesnt look exceedingly easy. And its probably expensive knowing this thing.
This also makes my window roll up very slowly.
I also noticed that on the driver side there is no padding inside the guide rails, so Ill have to buy some of that.... question there is can I take the rails out in order to put the padding in? Or do I have to do it inside the car?
Thanks for any suggestions

check to see if anyone in your area has a parts car with doors in your color. Its hard to sell the doors on these cars, so it may be worth your while to just swap doors.

Why would you get new doors when all you have to replace is a window regulator? Probably find one on ebay for 15 bucks. You can replace the regulator in about 30 minutes.

Just buy a used one with motor from someone here. Todd was having a 'clearance sale' and probably has a few. I have a spare but I'm not sure which side it's for until I check, I sold thre other side. I think $15 is going to be on the lower end of prices even for eBay.
