Default Arnnworx Belt tensioner, Great tool!

Just a plug for Bruce and his balance belt tensioning tool. Used it last week for the first time to retension the balance belt on my 968 and it worked great. No more whining belt for me. I even took the tool off, reinstalled it and checked the tension again. It gave the same reading as before. Nice to have something that consistently works.

Sooo... is he ready to sell yet? He found a way around the "sticky" problem?

Sorry, I saw the word "retension" in the first post, then my vision got blurry, my pulse started racing, my sweaty fingers started twitching on the PayPal button...

Yeah, I've done about 4 belt jobs on our early 944s, then I got the 968. Holy moly, the 968 is marvelous. I just love the autotensioner. 3000-mile retension? I don't think so!

The BS belt is still something to tweak with though. What I do is I use the kricket AND the twist method. I would hear belt whine. I just opened it up, loosened it a few degrees and just wraped everything up, and now there's no whine, only ROAR! I'd like to get my hands on an Arnnworx tension tool though.
