Thumbs up M758's t-bar spreadsheet and instructions ROCK!!!!

So, I finally made the time and we had some dry weather so I put the rear suspension back on the car. I had changed out the t-bars to slightly larger bars but wanted to keep the ride height the same as before I started. I followed Joe's instructions and used the spreadsheet he created and low and behold got the right height back to exactly were it was before I took everything apart - in one try!

Moral of the story is that as long as you take good measurements and can follow Joe's instructions well, the only thing that should be daunting about changing t-bars is the amount of disassembly involved.

Thanks Michael, I think we cross posted there.

Congrats again, how is it to drive with the new bars?

Oh, ha-ha, still a lot more work to go before I can drive it. I just finished the suspension part of this spring's project. I have to reassemble the parking brakes with new pads, rebuild the rear calipers, bleed the brakes, reinstall the axles, reinstall the exhaust, have new tires mounted, and yes as I have written so many times in the past, finally get an alignment.

We'll see how it drives in a week or so. I will at least take it around the neighborhood on my winter wheels just for kicks until I get the tires in and mounted.

Helping me out would be coming over next weekend and re-indexing them for me while I have a drink.
