I am considering a camshaft upgrade from Jon Milledge for my 1987 924S. I live in Washington state and I am concerned about passing emmissions.

Does anyone have any experience with their S3-14 camshaft and emmissons testing?

My modified 951 passes emissions without a catalytic converter, so I am assuming that Washington is one of the easier states to pass emissions in.

I was wondering the same thing, for anyone who hase gone to a more agressive cam, anything similar to the Milledge, how badly did it effect your fuel mileage?
I use my 944 for a daily driver, but I also want to pep it up a tad bit more, maybe I'll get an early 924 for that ........or the otherway around .....

 

I already asked Jon. He had no feedback from his customers in Washington state.

 

Does he have feedback from anybody in this regard? WA State isn't the only place that does emissions testing.

 

I got the distinct impression that it might pass in some states but not in others.
