Default Clutch Free Play?

Just got the S2 last Sunday. Had a reputable shop do a PPI. Nothing mentioned about clutch since it was just replaced 4k miles ago.

My wrench looked the car over and commented that there is no clutch free play which can be an issue. Feels there is constant pressure on the throw out bearing which will cause premature failure.

Is there an adjustment for this? What else might be of concern? How do i fix?

thanks

The maximum free play is 1 mm. To adjust this you need a 13mm open end and a small adjustable wrench. The adjustment is made to the push rod for the clutch master cylinder. Loosen the 13mm lock nut and turn the push rod to set the free play. Tighten the 13mm nut. You're done.

Thanks,

I figured it was something like that. Just found out the event I needed the car for rush, was cancelled, so now I have time to play and figure out the differences vs my other cars.
