Default Clock question

My clock looses time about an hour a day. Any idea what could cause this?

dirt in the clock. Mine does the same. If you turn the car off and listen closely you can hear them run. I never clean mine I just put up with it.

This is a digital clock, I don't think it is a dirt issue.

I have found that if the stopwatch is running in the background that the clock loses time. Once I stopped and cleared it timekeeping was fine.
