I have fit so much stuff its unbelieveable. The most recent was 500 campaign signs 18"x24" on a corrugated plastic and 500 step stakes. I was able to close the hatch and still able to drive her. Very sweet delivery vehicle if I dont say so myself.

I've had my 944 turbo since my junior year of college, which was awhile ago. Makes a great little car to run back and forth between home and school. I fit a boat load in there.

Thats good to here that you guys can fit alot of stuff back there. I am moving out east in 3 weeks and I was scared that I wouldn't be able to fit it all. But thats good news.

When i came back to school from spring break i brough myself a bunch of visdo eqiptment and another person and her stuff back to school. Let me elaborate. 1 Sony DSR camcorder (size of old VHS cameras) 2 TV lighting Kits, a shotgun mic case, a 9 inch monotor, sand bags, lighting gels, a C stand and grip kit plus a second person and her stuff from break as well as my cloths and stuff from break. Let me say it was tight and the car felt sluggish but it made it. I was thouroughly impressed with the amount of stuff i could fit in this car. 944 are very versitile.

Has anyone ever fitted more than 8 people in their porsche? it would seem that this would be the max. 1 driver, 2 in passenger seat, 3 in back seat, 2 in hatch. if not i think that at 944fest we should all climb in one of the cars and drive around just to see how many people would fit! Good/Bad idea? c'mon we could get great footage and pics of it!!!

Thought I was good when I hauled 2 944S2 transmissions from St. Louis to KC. I'm an amatuer though compared to my friend David.

David is something of an ebay junkie. Had picked up this stuff in Minneapolis and was headed to Winnipeg.

Was it you that posted the pic of a 944 completely bottomed out with tons of rolls of grass in the back?

Four adults over 40, two of which were over 225. I drove. It was really a tribute to the design of these cars.

Here's something I'll bet you guys didn't know...
With a little creativity, you can put at least 12 people into a 77 Toyota Celica hatchback.
