you might have to find your own fitting and such. but pretty much, take a line from the AOS and it goes in the top of the can. then take a line from the side of the can and mate it to the jboot where the original line went in. then empty can regularly.

the good thing about the machinetech one is that the can has grooves in it so the oil cant go back up the can. and it has a brillo pad type filter to catch all the oil.

Campeck,
I was looking into purchasing this catch can and found this old post.
Did you install a check valve between the can and the J-boot? The installation instructions from AMW's web site http://www.accmachtech.com/PCVCatchC...structions.pdf suggests using one on turbo cars to 'prevent undesired pressure from entering the can'?
I definetly like this set up, are you still happy with it?

on the na there is never positive pressure. so no check valve.
and on a turbo the jboot is before the turbo so that side of the intake also never sees pressure. so dont worry about it.

i havent been happy with my setup for a long time. for some reason it stopped catching oil a month after i installed it. and on top of that if you arent carefull routing your hoses they will get cut by random stuff in your engine bay.

Campeck, thanks for the response.
Yea, routing of the lines could be tricky i may install it behind one of the head light buckets (ac/windshield wash delete). Sounds like you have a plugged line/adapter or lost vaccum, have you made other changes that may have effected things. New AOS seals, different weight oil?
Intake is presurized not sure what you mean by J-boot on other side?

oil pan or possibly AOS seals...i have been reading some old posts about how they can leak and create quit a mess. i'm guessing they would also effect the local vaccum to your catch can? maybe. i'm planning to replace mine this winter, regardless of which can i go with.
