since we are speaking of previous owners, its been warming up here so turning the ac on my belt has started squeeling when the ac clutch is engaged, i go to tighten it last night and see that the rear of the ac is loose. the PO riged a bolt up through the front that sticks out about 3 inches and doesn't attach to the back, would anyone happen to know the bolt size that connects the compressor to the ac bracket?

I don't but could measure first thing in the morning... I have my A/c system in pieces in the garage floor... stay tuned.

thanks shwank,i was gonna pull teh ac bolt on teh 924S to see cause its in the garage doing a waterpump, but this would help alot!

I did a quick measurement as I ran out the door this morning. There are two longer bolts and two shorter bolts for the stock A/C bracket. The longer was ~80mm long, and the shorter ~60mm.

I removed the A/C and have a billet bracket coming to mount the alternator in its place. If you want I'd be happy to send you the factory bolts from my A/C setup... everyone here has A/C already so it's not as if there is a large market for A/C mounting parts

Also if you need more detail I can mic and photo the pieces when I get home tonite. PM me with your info if you want my factory bolts.
