i have it. look at my website.
lots of people will slam you for it but no worries. i bought it from 9xauto and it came within a week i believe. all around its a great setup, could have given me more HP but thats ok. too much more and the car would probably explode. my website has a great writup of how to install it. including which wires you have to splice onto in on the TPS as well as the vacume setup. ask me any questions.

A dry nitrous kit is great if you dont like your engine very much...

only use a wet kit if you want to run nitrous, but since your just gonna frame it on the wall, get whatever you want

he was talking to devious944. but on a HELPFUL note, i did the free flow exhaust (yet again check my website) and i lost a substancial amount of HP/Torque. and it was quite loud and annoying even after cat. i dont recommend it and the next weekend i put the exhaust back to normal. (thats as soon as i had time to do it! haha)

I thought he might be talking to me, because in another thread I mentioned that I know a kid at school who did his own "free-flow" mod(=== cutting the pipes off near the manifold with and oxy/ace torch, then complained about poor gas mileage)

well i think the nitrous would be more of a novelty for me. but if i had it i would want to use it.

as for the exhaust, i am used to vw's running open headers. but when i had my vr6 i was running a cat back and it sounded great and still ate hondas for lunch. the reason i wanted to put a full flow system on my 944 is that its a 2.5 and my vr6 was a 2.8 3 liters difference. i thought it would sound the same. ....

If someone made a wet kit worth about 75 hp or so I'd consider it. I inherently don't trust the dry kits. I suppose I could get custom chips made for "on juice" or "off juice" with different fuel maps, but that's a lot of extra work (and expense) for something that arguably SHOULD be available off-the-shelf.

May sound the same, but as mavfan said, dyno has proved that you lose power with no restriction, at least in his tests.

ya i think there may have been a bit of a screw up at the dyno tho. you can see if you watch the video that for the second pull where the exhaust is "open" when i start the car rolling, it really digs down into the rollers, sudgesting that the dyno may have been inacurate. (loosing 30 hp is way excessive IMO, so i think i kinda got screwed over there) but nonetheless i still lost hp and torque, whether it was 30 hp or not we'll never know.

also i doubt and hope you would not use it a lot. i dont. i've used it on a total of 7 drag runs and a few other times on the road. i actually haven't used it since last september. each time i use it i'm crossing my fingers as i am way paranoid about using it and i still have a bunch of nitrous left in the bottle since the first time i filled it up. i also know for a fact that it created a grind each time going into 4th gear, and as of right now my transmission is stuck in 3rd, whether or not nitrous had something to do with it, i dont know, but i'm sure it has helped wear things down a bit...
