yep, saw a 1000-hp monte carlo get beat by a ~600hp camaro because of strategy and because the monte carlo also broke ( :P )
and i think a 12 second mustang beat a roughly 11 second camaro also due to strategy and breakage, lol.

And nobody can speculate what the Porsche has under the hood...? It's a 79... They had suckey motors I thought (I know close to 0 bout early 924's) We have a coffee table book that says that early 924's were some the worst cars ever made, right up there with Pintos and Fieros. Id hope it is a v8 swap car.

Just so you know, wise ***, the torque on the Astro 4.3l is actually 250.
Once again, all this is just Bantor because this particular van looks like 10 second vehicle, so all your replies look like just a way to attack me. Congratulations.

i've seen minivan's do some pretty crazy stuff, but usually they'll have a corvette engine in them. right now the videos on speedtv.com are not working ofr me, can anyone tell how the 924 looks, like is it in good condition? mods?

SInce Zoltan pissed me off, I checked specs. The 79 924 in stock trim is only 110hp. It does 0-60 in 11.2 seconds and the quarter in 17.8 at 78mph. The Astro Van, depending on year, rear end, etc, has 190hp and 250tq. It does 0-60 in 9.2 and the quarter in 17.1@79mph. These specs can vary from one tester to another, but it looks like the van wins in stock trim.
SO this should put your rantings to rest. But once again, it does not matter because the ones on Pinks are modified.
