Default Anyone ever installed a headlight relay cover??

How the heck do you install these things? (getting the headlight motor power plug through the boot-like thing on the relay cover?)

I ended up slitting mine and then putting a tie wrap around the cable entry to seal it after threading the harness end through.

You need to get a pin extractor. Make sure to disconnect the battery because the relay control is always hot.

The only other way is to get a new plug, cut the pins out of the old plug, install the new boot, and then put the pins in the new plug.

Hi Keith,
Glad to see you got the boot so quick. Definitely use a pin extractor. Very easy job.
