Unhappy need help! How to tell?

How do I tell if the head gasket is leaking or the oil cooler is leaking? I found oil in my overflow tank. I have been loosing oil for about two weeks now and no leaks under the car. I lose abiut a quart in about 250 miles of HWI driving. I need to know what is the best way to tell where it is leaking that it is ending up in my coolant tank.

On an 87 944, it is 99 percent chance that it is the oil cooler seals.

Change them first. If you still have problems, look for a cracked block or head.

Agree Oil Cooler = Milk Shake more often than not.
Oil cooler is on passenger side of the engine, just behind the oil filter.

Betta just get an air to oil cooler now. None of that pesky coolant leakage.
