While accelerating in low RPM at top gear or going up hills, just tonight my 924 was having a terrible time. The RPMS would stay the same, but the oil pressure would take a hit and the car would jerk or chug.
I run 91-93 octane fuel, my car is a daily driver. It has needed a fuel filter for awhile and the plug wires are probably original (new plugs tho) but I'm on a buget, I want to fix the problems as they come along... any ideas what the problem is?

It may also be an injector, my car has a nice diesel like chatter to it.

If the problem was secondary ignition, the oil pressure wouldn't drop. If it was a voltage issue, then I'd think all of the guages would go bonkers. Maybe a oil level or pump pickup issue activation the low oil pressure safety switch? This would also fit acceleration/uphill as rearward slosh could interrupt pump supply.
I'm not that familier with 924's so if this doesn't fit, maybe someone can correct?
Good luck,
Bill

When I had the car up on the jack and started it on the new oil change today, it worked as it should (built almost immediately even with a dry filter).
However, the front of the car was elevated and the front is also elevated when going up hills.
As far as 944's and 924's, they had identical engines I believe...
