It sucks, but its true especially for large departments. Most jails will not even hold someone charged with a misdemeanor.

I'd chime in with a view from the "other side", but mpd425 did a good job of explaining it. I love the idiots in this country who sit around and watch CSI like it's real. Here's a shock; it isn't. You can't lift a fingerprint from a doorknob in a casino that 4 million people used to leave before the murderer. A good 65% of that show is for entertainment purposes only. It should have a disclaimer. Time or Newsweek did an article called the "CSI Factor" IIRC, and listed cases were the guilty went free because the idiots in the jury wanted more tests done. You can't do DNA on every case, it costs like $1100 each. It sucks when you are the victim, but I would never tell you to go after him. You get caught breaking the window of his car and your done. And what did you get?

Wiht that in mind I wil make it my lifes duty to **** with him and the property he resides in.

I'm thinkin of having gay **** mags sent to his neighbors house but with his name on it. Maybe sighn him up for a free membership in the arian nation.

I'm sorry mods but i gotta say it.

Well as an ex-Combat Arms/Security Forces Troop myself, good luck and watch, you reap what you sow. I know he fired the first shot, but now knowing your background, I would think you'd be above the course of action you are intent on heading.

But first, make sure there aren't any laws about "aiding in identity theft", "knowingly distributing personal identification", etc. cuz if some other slimebag sees it and does something bad, you could be responsible for disseminating his info.

It's way too easy to end up on the wrong side of the law, even when you're in the right.

Though the idea of photocopying his ID on flyer with ID #, other personal info covered up (Just his photo and name) is pretty righteous/funny. You could post some up in his neighborhood, too.

I'd support any sort of psychological actions over any sort of physical actions, if any actions are to be taken.

Haha... The Feds did that to the big "bootlegger" companies back in the early 90's. All the bootleggers companies were located in Europe (Italy, mostly) and because the governments there weren't doing enough, the Feds stepped in. They decided to hold a "bootlegger convention". Many of the bootleggers flew out (on their own dime) to the U.S. and were promptly arrested. Its a great way to get jurisdiction over someone without having to extradite them.

I just got off the phone with his probation officer.

Conversation went like this:

R- Hello I have reason to beleive that Jessie Bates has broken into my car.
PO- Do you know Mr. Bates?
R- No, I have never met Jessie a day in my life.
PO- Ok then, what did he steal?
R- Some sunglasses and broke my glove compartment.
PO- How do you know it was him?
R- Ya know I was waiting for you to ask me that. I know it was him becasue he left his ID in my car.
PO- HAHAHAHAHAHA, He did what?
R- He broke into my car and left his ID card.
PO- WOW, ok well did you call the police already?
R- Yes, an officer came by, confiscated it and took a report.
PO- DO you have the name of the officer and the report number?
R- Its at home I'll call you tomorrow with the information.

Things are looking up.

Good work. I hope you get redemption here.

If not, I vote you hire Dog the Bounty Hunter.
