Hey Matt, off topic, but are discounts still available for Firestone locations or am I gonna get the "we already gave you the discount" when I go there again ? I still like the RE750s, or maybe the Fuzions.. hmm

Actually now the wear pattern is better after I changed the front camber from 0 degree to -0.5 deg.

I acknowledge that these tires were not OK to mount for legal reasons.
Naw, I don't AutoX, I haven't ever been bitten by that bug. When I read and wrote outside edges, I was thinking edges in general not the ones to the outside of the car. That had me thinking low pressure, but seeing you rotate them in to out it makes sense.

The quick and dirty test is to put a penny into the tread, with Lincoln going in head first. If you can see the top of his head then the tire is worn out.

I have driven 944's in the rain and noticed hydroplane effects from tires no where near that far gone (like 2/3-3/4 worn, maybe even less) so for street use especially at this time of year I would suggest new tires (remember your front/rear balance too new fronts + worn rears + rain = oversteer then maybe you have a parts car). For dry track use those sound good (for a day at least). Remember most of us are speakin of US legal realities, the rules the tire mounters may have to go by may be different in Ontario.
