Anyone ever bypass the climate control?
Truthfully, when I put the fan on 1, 2, 3 or 4. I want it to blow cold *** air at that speed. Right now my climate control kicks the a/c off when the car is definately hot. I assume its the control itself that is the problem. Is it possible to just bypass the control? I went through all the previous posts on climate control and most everyone just wants to fix or replace it.

most, including mine blow colder at the lower fan speeds.
i can see it on the thermometer stuck in the vent.
you sure it's not a servicing issue, where the low presure switch is actually working?

I've been thinking along those lines myself. As far as A/C, I'd like to have 12V sent to the compressor, as well as the low pressure safety switch, but no sensors or expensive climate control system interfering. Just max cold until I shut it off. Now, if a climate controller from another vehicle could be wired in that could be sourced easily and cheap to replace, that might work. Der's gotta be a way.

you don't want the a/c running at the max all the time, that's why it cycles.
there's 2 or 3 unique oval connectors in the back of the cc, in a pretty thick loom.
dimensions, how deep, how to secure, wiring in a different controller might be more trouble than it's worth.
