That website has been around for little while now and I'm surprised that the Porsche lawyers haven't gotten on the magazine's *** yet. Maybe if we start complaining to PCNA, they will let loose their hounds.

You guys really think Porsche cares that a magazine shares a number with their entry-level model of 20 years ago? Ask an average Porsche salesman today. He'll probably be apt to tell you a 944 never existed, and a Boxster is right over there for sale...
If it was named Porsche, Carrera, 997, or 911, I could see an argument.

This was brought up a several months ago. Picked it up because it was called 944, opened it and was very disappointed. And who is to say that the 944's(car) curves, lines and sheer beauty didn't inspiire them...?

If it was a car related site, I'm sure they would have gone after them. Since they are not related to automobiles, Porsche may have let them slide. Porsche sueing them would be like Carvel Icecream suing Riad (Rennlister whose last name is Carvel and is in music, not frozen milk and sugar).

I remember Bereta(gun) attempted to sue Chevrolet for their Berreta, but it fell through because of the extra "r." Perhaps it is along the lines that it isn't car related whatsoever...? my 2 cents
