Dan, you are my My Hero..

Cory,as always looking great. Where did you get the keychain ??

back to topic.. any speaker thats over 10 years olod should be replaced. The nature and shape of our cabins simply eat bass. A sub is almost a given to produce any audible bass.
I had great sound from my old head unit.. (until some lowlife asshat broke into my car and stole my speakers, boxes, amp and sub.. )

I ditched the EQ and replaced the empty space with the cubby. I kept the 10 speakers but I did check them to ensure they were OK, I ended up replacing both of the mid ranges in the doors. I use a Kenwood flip face head unit and a powered sub in the hatch area. Sounds good enough for me and it looks stock.

Believe it or not, I got it at O'Daniel Porsche a couple of years ago for $5. Cheapest thing I ever bought at a dealership. I think I bought all they had, which was like 8 of them :-)
