I was at the dealer the other day and they had some in the display case with the valvestem caps and hats.

Hey! Outta' the Circle Imports display case! I got dibs on that!

I was SO pissed off when someone bought the carpet with the crest on it out from under me. It had been there for like a year and I finally went in there saying, "today's the day - I'm dropping the 200 bucks for that carpet" and it was GONE!!!

Still miffed about that.

Techno Duck I PM'd you.

If anyone else wants to see it, its in my gallery... www.560sec.com/gallery/944-LT1

Just click on the thumb nail and print it. Take it to a sign/vinyl/decal shop and have them make it perfect. I paid 12 dollars for a pair. The OE measurments for fender placement is 4 1/4" side-side and 5 3/4" top to bottom.

Hope this helps all you who have been endlessly searching for it.

944-LT1:

Nice car. What kind of headlights are those? Do they fit well and more importantly, how's the light output and throw?

Thanks.

SM check out the 951 photos thread for some talk on the GT Racing Headlight buckets. As for a widebody, from what i understand you're looking at around 2-3k in parts and around 5-7k in labor.

Here are a few I have made. File name changed to protect the list.

This one created from an actual race badge.(They used to sell this style, even just recently, at the dealership...)

Then there is always these.

The buckets and covers are from gt-racing by way of Lindseyracing.com. They are not as bright as the OE but save alot of space in the engine compartment and weight.

The lights themselves are just found on ebay and auto parts stores in 4" and 3". I know it sounds like BS but these were installed for function not form. In fact, all the body mods where for function not form. Yes, even the front bumper/spoiler....I need alot more air to cool the engine. The stickers however....are just for pretty girls' phone numbers. J/K haha

I see HUGE spaces in the rear of the wide body quarter panels here... did you not use these actual quarter panels or did you do something to mold them?

That is how the parts come. If you look for pictures of widebody 951 race cars with the fender flares in the back, a lot of them will just have the openings on the side.

Here you can see the openings a la 935 which were done by the 911 guys in the early 80's on the GTP & GTR 944 and 924 series.

Those are the same rear quarters that I'm using, and any and all inner fenders should have aluminum linings (only in front and on top of the tire in the rear) to protect them from rocks etc.
