We are about to see if it will fit a 944..
I think for $60.00 it's worth it..
Ok Experts, I need help here. And Fast too because I need to order..
Will the 1989 S2 Clutch fit in my 944 N/A1986 Flywheel and pressure plate?

Up for bid is a clutch disk out of a 1989 S2. It is in good condition. It has pleanty of meat left on the disk. It was used less than 1000 miles. Shipping will be $15 in the continental USA. I DO NOT ship outside the US or to APO's

All the S,S2 and 944 clutches are listed as fitting the same application. 944 Turbo is listed as different. IE, the clutch disc is the same for all applications.

The Sachs unit for the NA has inner and outer springs and the one you show has outer springs only. It's good to know there are other options for the NA.

Nice work
. You got one steal of a deal... My first clutch job, I spent $650 on the clutch kit from Parts Heaven... bastards. Second time, I found a kit on ebay for $450. Then later I found the kit on www.vertexauto.com (I think) for like $350. $60 takes the cake!!!
EDIT: just realized you got only the disc... but that's still a good price. Don't forget all the other WYAIT stuff (pilot bearing, rear main seal, etc.).

The Throw Out Bearing was replaced recently with the Pressure Plate. The last owner could not afford to do the "Kit" but the clutch started to slip, so he replaced the pressure plate and left the old clutch in there.

Thanks for the stellar suggestions.
