You scrolled down too far. The section closer to the top is the "944/951/968 specific option code chart" and lists 474 only as "Sport Shock Absorbers". 474 indicates sport shocks, but on the various cars and different eras that may mean different things. On the 944/51/68 series it means Koni, at least in North America.

That would be sweet! Can anyone else confirm that 474 struts are rebuildable? Is this how m030 struts are?

Antonio: I just looked at your photo gallery.. DAMN that is one sweet looking ride you've got. The paint looks like its totally immaculate!

The reason i want the shocks replaced is because i noticed a couple oil drops coming from the right rear shock about 1 month after getting the car. I would assume it might have something to do with the climate change, originally a AZ car.
So i called around and was told not to just change the rear but all 4 corners, if the front shocks are still fine, would it really be necessary to replace those when i only need 2 rear's?

The front are adjustable, while in the car and takes just a minute to adjust.

Rear needs to come off.

474 option are koni yellow sport adjustable

If you'res are the original (OEM), then they are sealed and oil-filled. Koni upgraded to gas-filled (air) and supply new inserts, Paragon has the hardware as well for the upgrades.
