Nice. On both accounts...

I am trying to get back into the 944/951 world, but I am torn as to which direction I want to go.... Either a modded 951 or a 44 with a v8. I know I know... it is a sin to stuff a v8 into a 44 but it is just so very cool and hotrod like. I just need to see one of these conversions up close to decide.

Or maybe on average, we're just becoming less mature....

Lt-1 you have got to upgrade those crests on your front fenders.

Nice work on the crest!

I'd drop the LT into a 944 - just not a 928!
Seriously, I really like the car. It looks great!

If you go the V8 route, the 951 with a blown motor is a better starter car. It already has much of the needed extras with the suspension, brakes, transaxle... upgrades. I had to do all of that, after I was able to get the engine in, because I have an '83 N/A. On the other hand, if you buy all of that stuff for a 944 N/A conversion, you know it's been rebuilt/new and will last. AND, changing/re-indexing 944 torsion bars is a boat load of fun, how can you pass that up!

Sounds like fun. If I ever get up to CT... Maybe I can stop by and check your car out. Not too far from NJ.

Hey now look at that! Real Nice! If I wasnt in school right now paying 600 dollar courses I might be able to afford some customs like that. WOW! Nice job! Mind if I save it? Mind if I post it in my gallery?

Default Another Crest Version

Here is a crest I designed, I think it looks much more racier and would look good on the hood. It still maintains all the elements of the Porsche Crest, but also incorporates the corvette logo, making it a True Hybrid Logo. Hope you all like!

Hey I heard from a ricer friend of mine that just putting the sticker on the fender would make the car go faster. . . .

(Well, OK, maybe a little late for April fools . . . . )

Looking past the getting spanked episode, the 928 is a nice car - suspension, body, interior - basically everything. If you desire a V8, go buy one. I'd recommend it. They aren't much more money (if any) than the 944.

Default All about opinion

I don't mean to step on toes, but I think the 928 looks awkward. When I see it, it reminds me of this old car my grandma had (the gremlin) only stretched out, or a delorian wonna be, just rounder. If they would have left the 968 with pop up lights, not those round things, I think i would like that car. I find the 944 to be the best looking, and there is so much you can do to it. In saying that I have no choice but to put a v8 into that model. Although I would like to put a 968 or even a 944 s2 engine into........ finding such a thing is hard and costly. I think its cheaper to just place a demostic engine in there and purchase the highly recommended conversion kit and be done. Like I said thats my opinion.
