LOL... mileage, 22-25 city/highway (that's what I've been seeing). Might get as high as 28 on the highway, but not likely too higher - the CIS is a limitation. As mentioned, you'll want 89 octane with stock boost - a 2.5L NA would be cheaper in the long run.

Reliability - great, once all the bugs and neglect are sorted out. That often takes a long time and prolonged effort of debugging. Electrical and boost leaks are the biggest aggravations in my experience.

The second picture above shows one of the main differences between a 931 head and a 924 head. The 931 head (above) has the combustion chamber in the head. The 924 head (my avatar) is flat bottomed, the combustion chamber is in the block, not the head.

Juan, don't worry about it, I'm just strolling in dreamland right now. I was wondering about the price of the head. When I go to grad school next semester, I'll need a more practical (more mpg) daily beater than a 968, so I was just toying with the idea of a small-engined 924, but I forgot to consider they have no EFI.
