Transmission shaft
Finally had time to work on the car a little bit today..first free time in weeks!! still looking for a place to live...anyone have any ideas?? I like warm, dry, and cheap
The trans clamping sleeve was stuck and when I finally got the transmission out I noticed the splines on the clamping sleeve on the input shaft side of the transmission were SLIGHTLY (not even one full spline) misaligned. I haven't had the chance to pull the sleeve off, but is if the input shaft is f*ed, is it possible to replace it? The input shaft on my old transmission is good and I work at a machine shop so I'm sure we have to the tools to do it if possible..I'd also really not have to replace a transmission I bought so recently!
Now, who was I talking to about a torque tube? I finally came to the point where I need it...
