That cat is awesome! HAHA, my cat LOVES my 944. Especially when I wash it! I don't think there has been a time once where I have washed car without my cat examining every inch of it while I work!

Look at the battery to see how old it is. It should have the date it was purchased punched out. I'd consider replacing anything 3+ years especially if it has sat for any long periods of time. The jump start and battery swap are also good ideas. If it still starts slow just keep an eye on it. Would hate to see you get stranded if it goes.

Havent had time to check the battery but I have this question

Can someone show me what your trunk looks like, mine looks like this

I'm wondering how this circled part is supposed to look like since mine was rear ended many years ago and repaired and I guess it was left like that.

Thanks
Stephane

Nope, that's what it's supposed to look like. As to why it's supposed to look like that is anyone's guess.

I think they secretly thought they might put an air-cooled flat 6 under the rear carpet and needed cooling vents...

Are you serious, it's butt ugly, and this was a luxury car!!!

I would have bet anything this was supposed to be covered with something.

Thanks for the clarification.

Someone on the 924 board explained those vents along the rear a few weeks ago. Apparently the air goes through the doors behind that plastic sheet, through the plastic vent from the door to the rear quarter, and it goes into those vents to help keep the hatch glass clear.

Makes a lot of sense.

Thanks for the explanation.

Default WooooooooooooooooW

Finally it's on the road!! I took my first real ride yesterday and most of today and I can only say WOW.

I could never have imagine what the ride would be like, it's simply incredible This car really is like a freight train It just doesn't stop.

It's like a drug, now I can only think about it, the only thing I wanna do is go back out and take it on the road again

And the looks that it gets

Comme une blague, elle m'a dit plus tard "If you want it you can have it"... ben c'est ça qu'est arrivé.

Nice man, I have a 90 S2 cabrio and let me tell you, you're in for some fun. The car is fun as hell to drive and makes a great every day driver is you're using it for that. Just make sure to keep up on the maint and she'll give you years of great service. Fun fun fun
