Dan, who are you going to use to tune the Mafterburner?

Dan, those are the Escort Cup coilovers, right? I've been pondering getting those for the S2, but don't want to have my fillings fall out. How do those feel on the street? (which valving and springs did you get?)

Thanks,
Dan

Kevin, for the Mafterburner tuning, I'm starting by recording a couple of data logs on the street, and sending them to lindsey. I'm expecting data back from them to get it close. Then I hope to take my wrench, Chris Moore, with me to the dyno and finishing it off.

Dan, I have not driven it more that 10 miles or so with them on, but so far it does not seem to stiff at all. They are indeed the Bilstein Cups valved 380/150 and 565/218. I have the 350lbs up front and 250 at the rears, with the torsions backed off 10*, so I don't believe they are doing much at all. I have not had the chance to push it with good traction to see how much roll I may or may not have, but my dental work is not in any danger. I'm very pleased with them so far.

That's a good idea Dan. I've done that. I'm just trying to fine tune now. I thought maybe you knew someone local that had experience in tunning with the Mafterburner. When do you think your going to the dyno?

What chips are you using? Lindsey chips?

No, I didn't get the Lindsey chips. My car already had a custom chipset, made by my old mechanic. They may be a clone of the factory cup car chips, I'm not sure. I don't have a date for the dyno yet, hopefully within a month. Shall I ley you know when I go?

Yes, please do. It would be great to get someone to help with the tunning on mine too.

Hey Dan, let me know when/where you are going for the dyno. Would like to see how the place does with tuning our cars. I would like to get my tuned after I put some more work into it and with my SMT-6 it shouldn't be to hard to tune.
