Default fuel injector compatibilities interchange

The search doesn't seem to be working, but I was wondering if a turbo 944's fuel injectors can be used in my 83 944? I know there are some Volvo injectors that work...

Here's an injector reference link:
http://users.erols.com/srweiss/tableifc.htm

You'll have to check your part number and look for compatible flow rates.

Different flow rates. Check Clark's garage. He shows the difference there. Your call.

You need a Bosch 0 280 150 201 for the early 944. I think you're looking at about $100 each if you search a bit.

Unless they are physically damaged or the coil is shorted out, you should be able to have your old injectors bench cleaned for around $12-$15 each. They'll come back like new. Look for a local place that specializes in fuel injection service - a lot of heavy truck repair shops have the equipment. Type " fuel injection service" + your zip code into google and I'll bet you find something.

Any idea why that chart ( http://users.erols.com/srweiss/tableifc.htm ) shows two different entries for the same part number you talk about? Do you know which flow rate I actually need?

I suspect the second entry is a typo and shoud be 0 280 150 202.
I'm also finding some conflicting info for the flow rates - the 0 280 150 201 should have a flow rate of 23.1 lbs/hr, he's listing it at 22.5. I got the 23.1 number from three different sites...
