Muffler still good with loose material? Bonus: with pic!
I recently got a nice looking stock S2 exhaust from another rennlist member. It sounded fine and looked great after cleaning up until I picked it up and shook it and realized it sounded like there was a few pieces of junk shaking around in the muffler. While I'm not looking to do any major upgrade, the PO of my car had a magnaflow muffler welded in which now sounds like it was taken skydiving a few times and hit the ground. I can flick the muffler and hear a slurry of particles inside all shaking around, so this one would have made a decent upgrade. I can tap on this and even hit it with no noises until I physically lift it up and shake it around. Now onto the question, is this one still ok to go ahead and mount, or with the loose material inside would I be an idiot to swap an exhaust which is obscenely loud and horrible sounding with one that might have the same problem?
Its a shame, I just got done spending a few hours cleaning it up, it was BLACK with dirt and other caked on matter and rust up until now.

I'll have one available in a week or so. I'm converting my '89 S2 into a track car.
Make me an offer and I'll meet you halfway or something. I live near Roanoke.
